

"Butch" Carl A. Clements, 46, of Springfield, passed away at 2:40 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2014 at his home. Butch was born on October 5, 1967 in Springfield, the son of Michael R. and Janice Clements Salmon, Sr. He married Paula Farley on March 8, 1986 in Springfield. Butch was a graduate of Springfield High School and worked as a CNA at Octapharma Plasma, Inc. He enjoyed working on his computer and reading science fiction books. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandmother. He is survived by his wife, Paula Clements of Springfield; children, Zachary Clements and Emily Clements, both of Springfield; father, Michael R. Salmon, Sr. of Riverton; siblings, Michelle Sklenka of Taylorville, Mikie Lynn Salmon of Athens, Michael R. Salmon, Jr. of Springfield, and James (wife, Kristin) Salmon of Taylorville; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, and his beloved dog, April. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Memorial Gathering: Family will receive friends from 3:00 5:45 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2014 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Memorial Ceremony: 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2014 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home. Private family burial will be held at Berlin Cemetery. Memorials contributions may be made to: Mikie A.
