Carolyn was born on October 24, 1951 in Springfield, the daughter of Charles and Nadine Kidd Stanton.
Carolyn attended New Berlin High School. She was a strong-faith woman with a deep sense of family. She loved spending time with her daughter and her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Sonny and Ronny Stanton.
She is survived by her daughter, Andrea (Josh) Meacham of Pawnee; grandchildren, Averie, Aidan, Abel, and Alivia; siblings, William Stanton of Union, MI, Robert (June) Stanton of Springfield, Beverly (Glen) Jessup of Pawnee, Patricia (Robert) Gomora of Springfield, Sandra (Edward) Davis of Sherman, Brenda (Greg) Zellers of Springfield, and Janice (Allen) Turley of Springfield; and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
