

Casimira Kloba, 93, of Sherman, died at her residence on Saturday, October 20, 2007. Casimira was born May 3, 1914 in Westville, IL the daughter of Alexander and Rose Daugelas. She married Felix J. Kloba on August 31, 1939 and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters Bertha Ezerski, Beatrice Ezerski, Antonette Sokolowski and several nephews. Casimira loved her children and grandchildren very much. She enjoyed reading and was a very devoted member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Sherman. When she was younger she had worked as a coil winder for Western Electric. She enjoyed working as an independent woman but her greatest accomplishment was raising her three sons and helping to raise their children as well. Casimira will always be fondly remembered as a loving, kind, and generous lady who always put her family first. She is survived by her children Felix A. (Mary Lou) of Chicago, Joseph A. (Marj) of Sherman, and Kenneth D. (Sharon) of Juliet, TN; seven grandchildren Kurt (Tammy) Kloba, Dave (Grace) Kloba, Dawn (Fred) Milan, Michele (Dan) Byrley, Diane Perog, Michael Kloba, and Kristopher (Jenna) Kloba; 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family welcomes friends to visit from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. The visitation will begin with a Prayer Service at 5 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 902 Saint Johns Dr., Sherman, IL with Rev. Msgr. Carl A. Kemme, V.G. celebrant. Graveside ceremonies will be on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at 11 a.m. in St. Casimir’s Cemetery, Chicago.
