Cassidy Duval

She was born on June 4, 1996, in Springfield, the daughter of Peggy Burns Kaylor and Jeffrey Duval.

Cassidy attended Chatham Glenwood High School and obtained her CNA from Lincoln Land Community College. Over the last few years, she worked at Meijer and Springfield Memorial Hospital.

She was passionate about her family. Cassidy was accompanied everywhere by her faithful dog, Roxy, whom she loved dearly. She had a caring soul, big heart, great sense of humor, and a beautiful smile. During her last few months on earth, Cassidy found Christ and had been studying the Bible.

Cassidy is survived by her loving mother, Peggy (John) Kaylor of Chatham; father, Jeffrey Duval of Springfield; faithful maternal grandparents, Richard and Millie Burns of Chatham; dear paternal grandmother, Sue Seppi of Springfield; paternal grandfather, Al (Peggy) Duval III of Divernon; siblings, Marshall Kaylor, Mason (Jenny) Kaylor, Isabella Kaylor, Alison (TJ) Gates, Cameron Duval, and Lincoln Duval; aunts, Alex (Janine) Seppi and Felicia Burns; uncles, Matt Burns and John (Sarah) Duval; several other aunts, uncles, cousins, two nieces, and her dearest friend, Gary.

She was preceded in death by her aunt, Gail Burns; grandparents, Robert and Mary Ann Kaylor; and grandfather, Arthur Seppi.

Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.

Private services will be held.
