

Charles was born May 6, 1955, in Springfield, the son of Eugene Charles and Beverly June Bales Molitoris. He married Pamela Brown on August 31, 1996, in Rochester.
Charles graduated from Rochester High School, earned his associate degree from Lincoln Land Community College, and his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from UIS. He was employed as a radiology technician for over 30 years until his retirement. Charles was of the Lutheran Missouri Synod faith and was a Big Brother. He was a man of faith and a loving family man. Charles was insightful, selfless, and curious about life. He enjoyed being outdoors, nature, working in the yard, fishing, music, food and travel, sports, cycling, reading, and was known for his green thumb.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Charles is survived by his wife, Pamela “Pam” Molitoris of Springfield; son, Charles T. Molitoris of Beloit, WI; siblings, Joseph (Cindy) Molitoris of Peru, IN, John Molitoris of Buckhart, IL, Carolyn (John) Hudec of Springfield, and Jennifer Kirby of Rochester; mother-in-law, Fumiko Brown; brother-in-law, Tom (Dawna) Brown; sisters-in-law, Sharon (Ed Harmeyer) Brown and Patricia (Kevin) Glover; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Butler Funeral Home-Springfield, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield, IL.
Funeral Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2022, at Butler Funeral Home-Springfield.
Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery.
