Charles L. Stith

Charles L. Stith, 55 of Springfield, died at 6:27 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2004 at St. John’s Hospital. Charles was born June 3, 1949 in Streator the son of Donald and Lila Volk Stith. He married Doris Frank on September 23, 1967 in Streator. Charles was a self employed carpenter and a Christian Minister ordained on June 12, 1988 at Lincoln Christian College. He was a member of Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Decatur. He served as a missionary in Canada from 1989 – 1992. He is survived by his wife: Doris Stith of Springfield, son: Donald Stith of Winter Haven, FL, daughters: Tina Wright of Springfield and Debbie Turnbough of New Lenox, grandchildren: Brock & Hope Wright of Springfield and Stephanie Blood of New Lenox, parents: Donald & Lila Stith of Streator, sisters: Donna Brumfield of Lincoln, Barbara (husband, Tim) Carter of Streator, Debra (husband, Alan) Ragusa of Streator, Patricia Doles of Streator, brothers: Donald Stith Jr. of Dallas, TX, William (wife, Karen) Stith of Streator and James (wife, Connie) Stith of Winter Haven, FL, several aunts & uncles and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 12, 2004 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home with Noble Staley officiating.
