

Cheryl A. Logan, 53, of Springfield, passed away at 10:38 a.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center. Cheryl was born July 22, 1957 in Springfield, the daughter of Theodore and Ruth Gust Quintard. She married Raymond Logan, Jr. on February 14, 2002 in Buffalo. Cheryl was a 1975 graduate of Lanphier High School. She worked as a nursing assistant at St. John's for 13 years before becoming a pharmacy technician at Memorial Medical center for the past 13 years. Cheryl enjoyed computers, games, flower gardening, baking and she belonged to a bowling league. Her passion in life was helping people. She was preceded in death by her parents. Cheryl is survived by her husband, Raymond Logan, Jr. of Springfield; three step-children, Leigh Anne Calhoun, Rebecca Logan and Nicole Logan, all of Springfield; two grandchildren, Marcus Logan and Alaina Brewer; three sisters, Linda (husband, David) Ingram of Michigantown, IN, Ronda (husband, Brad) Mills of Springfield and Karen (husband, Jeff) McKee of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews Family will receive friends from 9:30-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield, with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. Cabrini Catholic Church, 1020 N. Milton Ave., Springfield, with Rev. Richard L. Chiola, celebrant. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center. Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Camp Butler National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 687, E.
