Christopher Felix Lopez, 2 months, of Springfield, died on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at St. John's Hospital. Christopher was born November 14, 2012 in Springfield, the son of Richard and Erika Easley Lopez. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Lawana Marie Easley; paternal grandfather, Nicolas Lopez, Sr.; and one uncle, Nicolas Lopez, Jr. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Erika Lopez of Springfield; siblings, Bryanna and Nathan Easley, and Brian Lopez, all of Springfield; grandparents, Samuel Easley of Springfield and Lucy Lopez (partner, Norma Fleming) of Chicago; one uncle, Eric Martin of Chicago; two aunts, Laura and Liza Lopez, both of Chicago; and several cousins. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following ceremonies. Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral ceremony at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield, with Pastor Paul Rose officiating.
