

She was born in Chicago on September 4, 1963, the daughter of Thomas Jr. and Catherine Marie “Tekawitha” (Hill) Perry. Colette married Robert Earl Fain. He preceded her in death.
Colette graduated from Senn High School in Chicago. She was a very kind, outgoing, and giving woman. Colette had a positive outlook on life and was a devoted wife and mother to her seven children. Colette enjoyed spending her days surrounded by her family, celebrating every holiday with her grandchildren, spending quality time with her husband, and enjoying life to the fullest.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; aunt, Cindy Kuba; and two step-children.
Colette is survived by her children, Angela Perry of Springfield, Frederick (Micaela) Harris of Chicago, Sedrick Perry of Colorado, Christopher Perry of Springfield, Michael (LaToya Skinner) Qualls of Colorado, Victoria Qualls of Springfield, and Gregory Qualls; numerous grandchildren; siblings, McKinley Perry of IL and Cynthia Hill of Hartford, WI; great-aunt, Charlene Rivkin; three step-children; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Ceremony will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Butler Funeral Home-Springfield, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield, with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating. Family will receive guests following the Funeral Ceremony until 6:00 p.m.
Cremation will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following ceremonies.
