Daniel was born February 18, 1941 in Grand Rapids, MI, the son of Anthony Joseph and Frances Elaine (Jones) Lauck.
Daniel was self-employed and was a mechanical and automotive enthusiast. He was best known for riding on his Cub Cadet mower.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents; step mother, Opal V. Walls; and brother-in-law, John Howard.
He is survived by his sister, Linda Howard of Deland, FL; nephews, Scott (Patty) Howard, Curtis (Kim) Howard, and Randy (Jody) Howard; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation: Family will receive friends from 3:00 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Boardman-Smith Funeral Home, 800 South Grand Avenue West, Springfield.
Graveside Ceremony: 12:00 p.m. Monday, October 2, 2017 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 2315 Highway 61 N., Cape Girardeau, MO.
