David John Donovan, 65, of Springfield, passed away at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2002 at his residence. David was born June 18, 1936 the son of Dr. John J. and Rosemary Murray Donovan in Springfield. Mr. Donovan, a graduate of Springfield High School, worked as a Real Estate Developer. He attended Bradley University; he was a former member of Springfield Metropolitan Exposition and Auditorium Authority. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was survived by two sons: David Donovan, II, Christopher Donovan; four daughters: Rosemary (husband, Stephen) Donovan Olson, Clare Louise (husband, Thomas) Donovan Morrison, Elizabeth Donovan, Madeleine Donovan; four grandchildren: Victoria Rose Olson, Margretha Clare Olson, Josephine Olson and Fiona Clare Morrison. Memorial Mass will be at 12:00 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2002 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
