David "Lance" Robinson

Lance was born July 8, 1980, in Springfield, IL, the son of David Wayne and Edna Lalley Allen Robinson.

He attended Riverton High School and was employed with Springfield Clinic and CCB. Lance was a big kid at heart, always cracking jokes and loved to make people smile. He enjoyed bowling, watching movies, fishing, and being in the pool. When he was younger, he enjoyed collecting baseball cards. He was a passionate Chicago Bears fan. He also enjoyed cooking, especially anything with "hot sauce", loved his shoes, and his pets and all animals. Most of all, Lance enjoyed spending time with his nephew, Kyle Norris, his niece, Kourtni Norris, and his companion, Kim Foster’s children, Keiley and Allison

He is survived by his parents, David and Edna Robinson of Riverton; companion, Kimberly Foster and her children, Keiley and Allison; sister, Crystal (Bryon Ewing) Norris of Riverton; nephew, Kyle Norris; niece, Kourtni Norris; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cremation will be provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.

The family will host a graveside ceremony at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League.
