He was born on February 28, 1957 in Herrin, IL, the son of Clarence Smith and Annabelle (Frisinger) Smith.
`David is survived by his father Clarence Smith of Annandale, VA; his sister Gail Smith of Alvarado, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his mother Annabelle Williams; his stepfather Ralph Williams; and 2 brothers, Gregory Allen Smith and Timothy Joe Smith.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, Springfield. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 18, 2022 at 10 am at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield.
