Dennis E. Vance, Sr., 62, of Lincoln died at 7:15 p.m. on April 4, 2007 at his residence. Dennis was born August 30, 1944 in Pontiac, IL, the son of Robert and Pauline Zimmerman Vance. He was preceded in death by his mother: Pauline Vance. He is survived by one son: Dennis E. (wife, Kitty) Vance, Jr. of Flanagan, IL; two daughters: Michelle Detmers of Springfield and April Green of Lincoln; seven grandchildren; his father: Robert Vance of Pontiac; two sisters: Debra (husband, Vini) Natale of Kingwood, TX and Diane (husband, Dwane) Ahrends of Graymont, IL; one aunt; three uncles; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 12th, 2007 at Graceland Cemetery in Fairbury, IL.
