Dee Dee was born on May 16, 1955, in Springfield, the daughter of John Robert and Rosemary Mayol Flannigan. Dee Dee married William L. Kitchen on February 12, 2012, in Springfield. He preceded her in death on January 23, 2016.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Kathleen and Debbie Flannigan; and brothers, Terrence and Tim Flannigan.
Dee Dee is survived by her children, Amy (Todd) Randolph, Jamie (Angie) Codron, Christine (Todd) Bailey, and Callie Codron; step-son, Craig (Heather) O’Shea; sister, Mary Colleen (Dave) Dunning; and brother, Patrick (Angie) Flannigan.
Visitation: Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Butler Funeral Home – Springfield, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. A Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery. Illinois COVID-19 guidelines will be followed, requiring face coverings.
