Dolores M. Designe, 81, of Springfield, died at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Heritage Manor in Springfield. Dolores was born December 31, 1928 in Springfield the daughter of Achille and Yolande Waremburg Designe. Dolores began working for Illinois Bell as a telephone operator in 1947 until she retired in 1968. Her faith was very important to her, and she enjoyed reading and made a hobby of collecting and sharing quotes to live by. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her aunt, Helen Designe; her cousins, Bob (wife, Cindy), Joy, Larry, and Mike (wife, Bonnie) Designe, Lorena (husband, Larry) Porter and Samuel (wife, Carolyn) Myers; special friend Connie Bailey and many other dear caregivers. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Temple Christian Center, 1730 Jefferson St., Springfield, IL 62702. The family of Dolores M.
