Donna was born May 31, 1944, in Springfield, the daughter of Donald and Sarah Davis Myers. She married Howard Cawley on June 25, 1966, in Springfield.
Donna graduated from Feitshans High School. She worked as a secretary at SIU Springfield until her retirement. Donna loved music, she played the accordion and organ, was an avid traveler, loved animals, visiting zoos, boating and liked to water ski when she was younger.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Donna is survived by her husband, Howard; and children, Kerri Donovan and Richard (Christine) Cawley.
Visitation: Family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at First Christian Church, 700 South Sixth Street, Springfield, IL.
Funeral Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at First Christian Church with Rev. Michael N. Riggs officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
