Donna J. French, 64, of Springfield, died at 2:28 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at her residence. Donna was born January 3, 1948 in Springfield, the daughter of Andrew "Andy" and Theresa Slazas French. Donna was a graduate of Lanphier High School and worked at the Illinois State Museum many years ago. She enjoyed reading, painting and her wildflower garden. She was preceded in death by her father, Andy French and maternal grandparents, Elizabeth and Tony Slazas. She is survived by her mother, Theresa French of Springfield; one sister, Andrea (husband, Jerry) Jarvis; one niece, Edie Jarvis, one nephew, Trevor Jarvis and one great-niece, Ella Jarvis. Private family ceremonies were held.
