Donna J. Fritchman

Donna was born on September 3, 1938, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Howard and Audrey Emmabelle (McDonald) DeOrnellas. She married Robert “Bob” Fritchman on February 26, 1989. Robert preceded her in death on December 10, 2020.

Donna attended Springfield High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for Van Pickerill & Sons Liquor Distributors for 23 years until her retirement in 1980. Donna then worked as an office manager at her son, Dr. Timothy Lonergan’s, dental office for 16 years retiring in 2006. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal’s Fan. Donna enjoyed spending time in Florida and the Ozarks. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Howard and Tony DeOrnellas.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Lonergan of St. Louis, Dr. Tim (Vanessa) Lonergan of Springfield, John Bozis of Colorado, and Todd (Jocelyn) Wheeler of Colorado; stepson, Kent (Connie) Fritchman of Rochester; stepdaughter, Stacy (Bob) Barnett of Springfield; grandchildren, Britlynn Lonergan of Chatham, Nathan and Amberly Deneau of Evergreen, CO, Kyle (Becca) Fritchman of Springfield, Cori (fiancé Frankie Sheehan) of Springfield, and Bree (fiancé Zach Mohme) Barnett of Springfield; 3 great-grandchildren; one brother, Rick (Toni) Billbe; and beloved dog, Annie.

Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.

Private family ceremonies will be held.
