Donna was born May 3, 1932 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Rudie D. and Mary B. Brubaker Starkey.
Donna was a graduate of Virden High School, was a hairdresser, and was later employed by Horace Mann Insurance. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Max and Carroll Starkey.
She is survived by sisters-in-law, Marilyn and Shirley Starkey; nieces; nephews; and great and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Cremation was accorded.
Memorial Ceremony: 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Boardman-Smith Funeral Home, 800 South Grand Ave. West, Springfield.
A memorial in Donna’s honor was placed at Girard Cemetery.
