Doris A. Strickler, 73, of Springfield, formerly of Jacksonville, passed away on December 10, 2023 at Lewis Memorial Christian Village. She was born on September 18, 1950 in Jacksonville to Virgil T. Strickler and Elva E. Ballenger.
She is survived by one son Matthew Strickler, one sister Madonna (Larry Hymes) Strickler-Hymes and one brother Steven (Karyn) Strickler. Doris worked for Bound To Stay Bound Books and enjoyed TV westerns Gunsmoke and Bonanza.
