Dorothy J. Kienzle

Dorothy J. Kienzle, 78, of Springfield, passed away at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2002 at St. John's Hospital. Dorothy was born November 26, 1923 the daughter of Helmuth and Jenny Krause Schwartz in Milwaukee, WI. She married Ralph F. Kienzle September 12, 1942 at St. John's Cathedral in Milwaukee, WI. She had been a resident of Springfield since 1970. She retired from Sears and Roebuck after 18 years of service and seven years with J.C. Penny's. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Margaret Sikow She is survived by her husband: Ralph F. Kienzle of Springfield; one son: Ralph F. (wife, Norma) Kienzle of the Philippines; four daughters: Barbara A. (husband, William) Robbins of Des Moines, IA, Rita C. (husband, Joseph) Nerone of Bolingbrook, Jean E. (husband, Steve) Zang of Springfield, Jane (husband, Robert) Talbott of Springfield; nine grandchildren and five nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home from 4-7:00 a.m. Sunday, February 10, 2002 with a wake service at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2002 at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Very Reverend Patrick Wright V.F. celebrant.
