

Dorothy A. Wilde, 82, of Springfield, died at 5:54 a.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center. Dorothy was born February 5, 1932 in Quincy, the daughter of Leonard and Lidwina Willer Rossmiller. She married James Wilde on November 26, 1955 in Quincy; he preceded her in death. Dorothy was a graduate of Liberty High School and retired as an administrative assistant from Watts Copy Systems. She was a member of Church of the Little Flower for over 40 years and was a member of the St. Theresa Guild. She enjoyed square dancing with her husband, attending her grandchildren's sporting events, sewing, flower gardening, and golfing. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marie (Gerald) Vogel; and two brothers, Paul (Dorothy) and Virgil (Carlene) Rossmiller. She is survived by son, David (wife, Karen) Wilde of Minneapolis, MN; two daughters, Deb (husband, Dan) Brydl of Springfield and Sheri (husband, David) Moehn of Godfrey; grandchildren, Michael and Eric Brydl, Emma and Laura Wilde, and Zach, Ben, and Sarah Moehn; brother, Earl (wife, Sue) Rossmiller of Liberty, IL; two sisters, Mildred (husband, Don) Hillebrenner and Rita (husband, Russ) Terstriep, both of Quincy; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Visitation will begin with a prayer service at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 27, 2014 at Church of the Little Flower, 800 Stevenson Dr., Springfield with Rev. Msgr.
