

Edith Ann Callarman, 55, of Athens, died at 8:23 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2006 at St. John’s Hospice. Edith was born on March 14, 1950 in Springfield, the daughter of Marvin and Minnie Burt Watts. She married Jim Callarman in 1987 in Springfield. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was a compassionate lady who loved her children and grandchildren. She loved animals and selling antiques on Ebay. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother: James Watts and one sister: Martha Mrosko. She is survived by her husband, Jim Callarman, three sons: Lawrence (wife, Heather) Stewart, Michael Callarman and Brett Callarman all of Athens; two daughters: Melinda Stewart and Lacricia Callarman both of Athens; one stepson: Jim Callarman, Jr. of Springfield; eight grandchildren: Courtney, Alysa, Kamryn, Raymond, Kiersten, Kelsey, Devin and Kyle; four brothers: Thomas (wife, Linda) Watts and Richard (wife, Darilyn) Watts both of Petersburg, Arthur Watts and John (wife, Linda) Watts both of Springfield, three sisters: Sue (husband, Henry) Cundiff of Peoria, Pat (husband, Mike) Vaughn of Buffalo and Linda (husband, Dennis) Watkins of Williamsville and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation accorded by Cremation Tribute Center, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2750 Sangamon Ave., Springfield, IL 62702 with Rev. Darrell Debowey officiating. The family of Edith Ann Callarman is being served by Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield.
