Edna B. Green, 88, of Springfield, passed away at 12:55 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2002 at St. John’s Hospital. She was born November 10, 1913 the daughter of Charles Edward and Elizabeth Busch Green in Springfield. Edna was a graduate of Ursuline Academy. She was employed in the office of Hickox Apartments for more than 40 years. She was a member of the Ursuline Alumni Association, St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Ladies’ Guild of St. Joseph Parish, and the St. Louise de Marillac Guild. Ms. Green is preceded in death by her parents and one uncle: Edward E. Busch. She is survived by one sister: Loretta Green of Springfield and several cousins. Friends may call at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 9-10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2002. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2002 with Reverend Daniel Nolan C.S.V. celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
