Edward Gail Miller, 59, of Rochester died at 12:49p.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at Memorial Medical Center. Edward was born December 13, 1947 in Springfield, the son of Edward Theodore and Mary Louise Skaggs Miller, they preceded him in death. He married Kay Russell in August of 1965, and they later divorced. He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local #16. He was a former carpet layer, and retired from owning a Boarding House in Springfield. He is survived by two daughters: Chevonne (Brad) Dodge of Rockford, IL and Jennifer (Dale) Turley of Buffalo; one brother G. David (Diane) Miller of Indianapolis, IN; companion Sherrie Kimble; two grandchildren Trever and D.J; and nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center, 900S. 6th Street, Springfield, IL 62703. The family welcomes friends to visit from 11:00a.m. – 12:45p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th Street, Springfield, IL 62703. Memorial Ceremonies will be held Saturday September 29, 2007 at 1:00p.m at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home.
