Elizabeth Anne Kapnick, 59, of Springfield, died at 7:49 p.m. on June 12, 2015 at her home. Elizabeth was born May 5, 1956 in Springfield, the daughter of Eugene C. and Bernadette Quinn Costa. Elizabeth graduated from Sacred Heart Academy and attended Maryville College. She earned her bachelor's degree from St. Louis College of Pharmacy. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Meghan Kapnick of Springfield; siblings, Eugene, Michael, and David (wife, Sharon) Costa, all of Springfield, Martha Elafros of Tucson, AZ, and Edward Costa of Decatur; five nieces and nephews; one great-nephew; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Memorial Gathering and Funeral Mass: Family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1725 S.
