Elizabeth ''Betty'' J. Wilkerson, 78, of Springfield, passed away at 4:19 p.m., Tuesday, January 2, 2001 at her residence. Betty was born August 1, 1922 the daughter of Wayne and Irene Timmony Love in Quincy, IL. She married Robert ''Bob'' Wilkerson at St. Agnes Church in 1948 and he survives. She was a homemaker and was a member of St. Joseph Church. She was preceded in death by one son: Michael, and her parents. Betty is survived by her husband: Robert ''Bob''; two sons: Brian (wife-Brenda) and Jerry Wilkerson both of Springfield; one daughter: Karen Marley of Champaign, IL; two grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A memorial mass will be celebrated by Rev. Patrick Render CSV on Monday, January 8, 2001 at St. Joseph Church at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
