

Born June 1, 1930 to Mary Evelyn (Kincaid) McClintock and John Robert McClintock.
She graduated from Springfield school, graduating from SHG in 1948. She worked as a window trimmer at Kresges 10 cent store, Sangamo Electric, Orpheum Theater as a ticket seller, waitressing as well as going through LPN training. After getting a license, she worked for Rutledge manor for over 20 years and also at Heritage Manor for 5 years.
Emma married Freeman M. Warren in 1966 and he died in 1994. He was employed by Vredenburg’s Lumber Co. until retiring in late 1980’s due to illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, mother, father and 2 brothers, John E. and Robert McClintock.
She is survived by 2 sons, David (wife Millie) Warren and John (wife Cheryl) Warren, both of Springfield and 1 daughter Anna (husband David) Nickelson of Pleasant Plains, IL. There are 5 step-children, JoAnn, Charles, Linda, Jerry, and Janice. There are 8 grandchildren, several step-grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, several step great and great-great grandchildren, 2 sisters Mary James and Ruth Long, both of Springfield, several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She is also survived by a cousin Betty Freeman of Springfield.
Services are under the direction of Bisch Funeral Home West, 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd., Springfield where memorial services will be held on Monday, July 30, 2012 at 6:30 pm, with Rev. Vaughn Beeman officiating. Per her wishes, cremation rites were accorded.
Memorials may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
