G. Bernard Segatto, 94, of Springfield, formerly of Lockport, IL, died at 8:23 a.m. Sunday February 17th, 2002 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. He was born February 5th, 1908 in Lockport, the son of Cesar & Italia Demarks Segatto. He married Rose Fracaro, and she preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by 3 sons- Bernie Jr., Charles, and James Segatto. Mr. Segatto was a member of the Moose Lodge in Lockport and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lockport. He had been employed by Texaco in Lockport for 50 years before retiring. Surviving is his daughter-in-law- Nancy Grady Segatto of Springfield; 4 grandchildren- Bernie Segatto III of Chatham, Randy (wife-Suzann) Segatto of Rochester, and Amy (husband-Chris) Perrin of Springfield, and Renee Segatto of Lockport; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday February 19, 2002 at Goodale Memorial Chapel-912 South Hamilton Street in Lockport. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lockport. Burial will follow.
