She was born in Ritchie, IL, on March 16, 1936, the daughter of Harold John and Myrtle Ruth (Austin) Lippold. She married Thomas E. Beever on August 21, 1954. He preceded her in death on January 31, 2013.
Gail was also preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Kelli Ann Marie Beever; and brother, Larry Lippold.
She is survived by her son, Jonathan Beever; daughters, Lorie Day and DeAnna Beever; three grandchildren, Zachary, Taylor, and Erin Beever; and her brother, Robert (Donna) Lippold.
Burial will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
The family is being served by Butler Funeral Home- Springfield, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield.
