Geraldine "Jerry" Richardson

She was born on June 6, 1923 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Beckham and Valor (Goff) Fentress. She married Joseph Richardson on August 2, 1942 in St. Charles, MO, and he preceded her in death on August 14, 2006.

Jerry worked as a realtor with Marie Archer Realtors. She was a member of Calvary Temple in Springfield. She was active with the RV Maps Program-Assemblies of God (Mission America Placement Service) building churches and Bible schools and colleges. She loved to share Christ with people and to pray with others.

She is survived by a son Rev. Thomas L. (wife Diane) Richardson of Champaign, IL; a daughter Dorothy (husband Robert) Paoni of Springfield; 3 grandchildren, Andrew (wife Alayna) Paoni, Shanah Richardson, and Rachel (husband Billy) Hayden; 2 great-grandchjldren, Dominic Paoni and Gwyneth Paoni; a daughter-in-law Rachel Richardson of Bonney Lake, WA; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son Louis Eugene Richardson; a brother Elliott Fentress; and a sister Marie Archer.

Services are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield where visitation will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 9:30 am until time of the funeral service at 10:30 am. The funeral service will also be at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Rose officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield.
