Heather Lynn Day, 29, of Springfield, died at 12:26 p.m. Friday December 7th, 2001 at St. John's Hospital Emergency Room. She was born November 21st, 1972 in Springfield, the daughter of Thomas E. & Bonnie L. Larison Day. Heather attended school through Sangamon Area Special Education and graduated from Lee School. Since graduation she has been employed by SPARC in Springfield. She enjoyed her participation in Special Olympics and had won several medals. She had been preceded in death by a grandmother-Corabell Larison and a grandfather- Henry Edward Day. Surviving are her parents- Tom & Bonnie Day of Springfield; a sister- Pam Day of Springfield; a brother-Timothy Day of Springfield; a niece-Tayler Marie; grandmother- Margaret Beard of Springfield; grandfather- Richard Larison of Springfield; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
