Helen Sronce

Helen Sronce, 87, of Springfield, died at 11:13 a.m., Thursday, October 14, 2004 at her home. Helen was born June 20, 1917 in Springfield the daughter of John P. and Nellie Brinkman Reilly. She married Joseph Leonard Sronce; he preceded her in death December 18, 1971. Mrs. Sronce was a homemaker and a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church She will be missed by her family and friends, but she is now at rest with her loving husband, and joins her mother, father and brothers who preceded her in death. She is survived by one daughter Mary Helen (husband, Joseph) Sparks of Newberry, FL; four sons: John L. (wife, Suzanne) Sronce of Springfield, Robert (wife, Jill) Sronce of Petersburg, Kevin (wife, Mary Ellen), James (wife, Karen) Sronce both of Springfield; twenty-one grandchildren; many great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 245 N. Amos Ave., Springfield, with Very Rev. Robert J. Jallas, V.F. celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Senior Citizens of Sangamon County, 701 W. Mason St. Springfield, IL 62702.
