Hilda C. Post

Hilda C. Post, 91, of Springfield, died at 6:06 a.m. Wednesday November 28th, 2001 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. She was born October 6th, 1910 in Springfield, the daughter of Charles H. & Jessie Eva Beal Smith. She married Howard S. Post March 10, 1934 In Springfield. He preceded her in death in March 1998. Mrs. Post had attended SHS and was a homemaker. Preceding her in death were her parents; a son-Gordon D. Post; a grandson-Donald B. Post, Jr.; two sisters- Ellen Luella Bechtel and Catherine Scachette Cramer; and an aunt- Leona Beal Judd. Surviving are her son- Donald B. (wife-Ilene) Post of Springfield; daughter-in-law- Sharon L. Post; 5 grandchildren-David A. Post of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Darren L. Post of Springfield, Kevin B. Post of Springfield, Karon K. (husband-Bill) Kaltenbach of Springfield, and Jody J. Post of Springfield; 3 great grandchildren-Rebecca, Dylan, and Devin; and several nieces and nephews. Tha family will receive friends from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday November 30th, 2001 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 South 6th Street in Springfield. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday December 1st, 2001 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
