

Jack was born 1918 in Boonville, IN, the son of Walter Christian and Willa Etta Cox Rudolph.
Jack Graduated from Purdue University with a degree in chemical engineering and immediately took employment with Kimberly-Clark Corporation in Kimberly, WI. He met Georgiana Krueger in Kimberly and they were married in Boonville, IN in 1942. Jack was an officer in the U.S. Army during WWII serving with the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) in England, France and Germany. He was discharged from active duty the rank of Major and resumed employment with Kimberly-Clark as a paper chemist and plant engineer, eventually moving to Appleton, WI, as a manager in Kimberly-Clark’s headquarters. After retiring, Jack married Barbara Trachte in Appleton in 1971. They lived in Appleton and summered in Ephraim, WI, where he was an avid birdwatcher and friend of the Ridges Sanctuary and the Clearing in Ellison Bay. Jack was a long time member of Memorial Presbyterian Church in Appleton.
Jack is survived by a son, W. William (wife Patricia) Rudolph of New Berlin, IL; four daughters, Gina K. (husband Michael) Rolsten of Lawrenceville, GA, Julie Ann Ball of Duluth, MN, Linda Sue (husband Earl) Lorenz of Ellison Bay, WI, and Mary Jane (husband Chris) Vassal of Green Bay, WI; ten grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Cremation will be accorded by Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 11:30 am until the memorial service at 12:30 pm Friday, Jan. 25 at Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel, Springfield, IL. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield, IL.
