

Jacqueline F. Seck, 67, of Pensacola, Florida, formerly of LaSalle-Peru, Illinois and Springfield, Illinois, died at 10:55 a.m. Sunday December 23rd, 2001 in Pensacola, Florida. She was born March 1st, 1934 in Springfield, the daughter of Willis W. and Elmira K. Reichle Fossett. Mrs. Seck was a graduate of Ursuline Academy and attended Springfield Junior College (now Springfield College in Illinois). She had served as administrative assistant for the Hospital Sisters Health System for 11 years, retiring in August 1999. She had also served as administrative assistant in the Development Office for Springfield College in Illinois, serving there for 12 years. She had also been a volunteer for Care Center of Springfield, Ursuline Academy, and Brinkerhoff Home, on the campus of Springfield College. She was preceded in death by her parents and her former husband- Robert Seck. Surviving are her daughters- Barbara (husband- Michael) McLaughlin of Springfield, Katherine (husband- James Valentine) Seck of Springfield; sons- Mark (wife-Lisa) Seck of Rockford, Steven (wife-Tammy) Seck of Springfield, Christopher Seck of Springfield, Matthew (wife-Julie) Seck of Divernon, David (Partner-Peter Veiguela) Seck of North Hollywood, California, Phillip (wife-Lois) Seck of Springfield, and Andrew (wife-Leslie) Seck of Springfield; 16 grandchildren- Jennifer Doll, Brock Mazur, Amber Borem, Ellie McLaughlin, Mason McLaughlin, Katherine Seck, David Seck, Kelsey Claton, Hannah Seck, Chloe Seck, Alison Seck, Kristen Seck, Lauren Seck, Nicholas Valentine, Emily Valentine, and Kayla Seck; 9 Great Grandchildren; Sister- JoAnn (husband- Carroll) Lamken of Springfield; and longtime companion- Eldon Brown of Pensacola, Florida. The Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 5th, 2002 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Memorial Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 5th, 2002 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, the Rev. William Kessler celebrant. Immediately following the mass, there will be a memorial gathering at St. Agnes Parish Hall, and the family invites all to attend.
