Jacqueline B Wright

She was born in Des Moines, IA July 29, 1929, the daughter of Raymond and Adeliade (Collins) Bailey. She was a graduate of Mac Murray College in Jacksonville, IL.

Jacqueline married Robert L. Wright December 26, 1948, at the First Christian Church in Springfield where she was a member. He preceded her in death February 9, 2017. She was also preceded in death by her son, Kevin, a grandson Patrick, her brother Stuart Bailey and her parents.

Jacqueline served as an accountant and assistant Treasurer for Sangamon County for many years, retiring in 1990. She and her husband loved to socialize and enjoyed many events and activities together. They traveled many miles on their Goldwing.

Surviving are her children: Larry (Debra) Wright of Pottsboro, TX, Barbara “Bobbie” (Jim) Suttie and Linda Earp, both of Springfield. She has seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, as well as nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held with burial in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
