Jaedyn Rae Purnell

Jaedyn Rae Purnell, 9, of Buffalo, Illinois, passed away on Sunday March 6, 2022 at St. John’s Hospital. She was born on September 1, 2012 in Springfield to Matthew Ryan Purnell and Bobbi Jo Pudschun and they survive.

Miss Purnell is also survived by her brothers: Gaige and Jase Purnell, maternal grandparents Dave and Kathy Patrick, paternal grandparents Roger (Tonya) Purnell and Cheryl McKnelly, paternal great-grandmother Virginia Rush, three aunts: Starrayne (Keaton) Yocum and Kaitlyn Purnell both of Springfield and Toni (J.R.) Myers of Dawson, cousin Dylan Thomas, twenty two beloved pets and many extended family members that loved her very much. She was preceded in death by paternal great-grandparents: Janet and Lloyd Ford and Everett Rush, maternal great-grandparents Patsy and Richard Smith and her sister Skylar Rae Purnell.

Jaedyn attended Tri City Elementary School Home Services and was currently in the third grade. She loved spending time with her brothers, playing with her light and sound toys and listening to pop music. Jaedyn was an animal lover who would always get in trouble with her mini pig George.

A funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday March 12, 2022 at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 East Allen Street, with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm Friday March 11, 2022 at Bisch and Son.
