

James Adam Brady, 20, of Petersburg, died at 9:00 a.m. Monday, July 14, 2003 in a car accident on Gudgel Road in Menard County. James was born April 10, 1983 in Springfield the son of Hugh Gene III and Rita Morgan Brady. James was a 2002 graduate of Ursuline Academy and attended Capitol Area Career Center Culinary Arts program. He was a student at Lincoln Land Community College in the Banquets, Catering and Hospitality Industry. He was employed at Old Country Buffet as a meat carver, line server and production cook. James was a participant of Exploring Post 0731 for five years, and was a participant in an American Heart Association Heartsavers course. He was preceded in death by a brother, Hugh Gene Brady IV. He is survived by his parents: Hugh Gene III and Rita Brady of Petersburg; half sister: Patricia Brady-Lahn of Milan; grandparents: Margaret Morgan of Springfield, Hugh Jr. and Ruth Brady of Fort Myers, FL; one aunt: Peggy Maggard of Springfield and many great aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2003. Visitation will begin with a prayer service at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 11:45 a.m. Friday, July 18, 2003 at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with Rev. Msgr. John R. Ossola celebrant. Burial will follow in Camp Butler National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to James A.
