James Michael Pratt, age 51, passed away at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 09, 2002, at his residence. James was born February 11, 1951 the son of James Ingram and Ferla Louise Angelo Pratt in Oklahoma. Mr. Pratt had been employed as a carnival ride operator. He was also a member of the Morman Church. James was a very friendly person who enjoyed woodworking, reading, and music. His greatest enjoyment in life was traveling and his career gave him a great opportunity to do this. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by one son: Joshua Pratt of MO; one daughter: Niki (husband, Jason) Kutcher of MO; three sisters: Diana Pratt of Petersburg, Debra (husband, Curt) Williams of Pleasant Plains, Sherry (husband, Nick) Irving of Glenarm; three grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM Friday, July 12, 2002 at Kirlin-Egan Butler Funeral Home with Dr. Roger Rominger officiating. The family of James M. Pratt is being served by Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home 900 S. 6th St. Springfield.
