Jim and family: My sincerest sympathy in your loss of Janet. I've enjoyed knowing her for many years as the CPR Instructor for HDCPA. Our classes were always fun with the two of you and the other participants. I will miss her infectious smile and ready conversation. Dear Eyer Family, I am going to miss Janice and I am very sorry for your loss. I really enjoyed seeing Janice and Julie at the bowling alley. I will keep Janice and her family in my thoughts and prayers.

Janice was a very caring mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, friend and a citizen from her communtiy here in Springfield. She always made everyone feel welcome and as a member of her family. Janice's love and caring for others is a trait that can be found with all of the members of her family. Mr. Eyer, Jerry & Ally, James & Mary Beth, John & Heather, Julie and Emma. All of them have always treated me as a member for their family. God has Truely Blessed Us with one of his Angels that he has called to Heaven. We mourn your loss. Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer. I've known Jan some 34 years we rode to hdcpa meetings together, I will cherish the memories I have of her.

Dear Jim and family, I was very saddened to hear of Jan's passing. She was one of the first neighbors I met 15 years ago and was always one of my favorites. She will definitely be missed here on Adelia Street. She was always interested in sharing goings on in her life as well as what was happening in mine. Janice and I were friends at Carlin High. She was always so kind and sweet to everyone! I loved getting to see her and talk with her at the reunion. I was very shocked to hear of her death! I am certain she will be missed by all she knew. My blessings to her family.

Janice will truly be missed. While we attending Berean, she and I taught Sunday school together (I learned a lot from her). Now, when we come back to visit Berean she is always the first to greet us. To the Eyer Family: I am so sorry for your loss. Janice touched many lives; I can only imagine how you who loved and new her best must feel at this loss. I also am a member of the Home Daycare Association. I can remember the very first meeting I went to Janice was the first one to welcome me and "show me the ropes" and I so appreciated her. I feel blessed to have known Janice and to have had her in my life. If there ever was a question about daycare Janice was the one to ask. We in the association will greatly miss Janice and her beautiful smile.

The first time I met Janice, I could tell she had an enthusiasm for life. She loved coming to our scrapbook nights at Calvary; and always with a smile on her face, she had a story to tell us about her pictures. She shared with her fellow scrapbook friends how much she loved her family and those children that she babysat for. She will truly be missed by many. I am praying that through this difficult time, God's presence will be with her loved ones. May they feel his comfort and may they rest in the peace that one day, they can be reunited with her.

Dear Zeke, Julie, Emma, and the Eyer Family, Janice babysat my little boys William and Henry and we loved her so much. She was such a loving and kind person. Your home was always full of love, and we feel blessed to have been a part of her life. Janice taught me so much about parenting. The example she set was something I will always remember and value. My prayers are with you all at this time.

Zeke, Julie, & The Entire Eyer Family. I was deeply saddened when i heard the news Janice had passed away suddenly. She was a terrific lady. She was a great Special Olympics coach/volunteer!! I remember so many good times with her. I competed with her daughter Julie in many sports. I will continue to keep the entire family in my thoughts and prayers. May Janice rest in peace!! Janice always had a smile, no matter what the situation, and she touched the lives of many young children during her many years as a dedicated and caring family child care provider. She was a role model for all of the providers in the Springfield Home Day Care Association, and will be greatly missed by those of us who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Janice was a active member of the Home Day Care Providers Association and served on the board, coordinated CPR & First Aid Classes for our association and was a hoot at our Christmas Party during the white elephant gift exchange as she always tried to find the best gift and carefully pick her coveted prize...It won't be the same without her at our meetings and she will be sadly missed...I was lucky to have her serve on the board while I was President and have her as a dear friend...She has provided licensed family child care for 44 years and has mentored countless providers in the field...Thank you Janice for all you did for our association...And thank you for being a dedicated provider and friend...

Janice was not only a dear dear friend but also a coworker. I have known Janice for over 26 years. We met when I first joined the Home Day Care Providers Association of Springfield. I could always count on Janice to give advice or a shoulder to cry on. She always had a smile on her face at our monthly meetings and I always looked for her at all of our trainings we attended. I too was lucky enough to have Janice on my Executive Board while I was President of HDCPA. She will be missed so much at our Christmas Party this year...I will have to make sure I look for Janice's coveted gift. :) My prayers and thoughts are with her family. Please know your Mom and Wife was a wonderful loving person. Also know that with the loss of Janice came a huge loss for all Children...

As we grieve in the loss of Janice, we can celebrate because of the countless little lives she has touched in the over 40 years of home day care she provided. Her legacy will live on forever. What a commitment she had to families. I am proud to consider Janice a co-worker and friend as a member of the Home Day Care Provider's Association. Thank you, Janice, for your example and hard work.

To the Eyer Family. I am so sorry for your loss. At every Day Care meeting Janice would come up and ask me how my daughter Christy was doing and always gave me a huge hug and it was truly a warm gentle hug. She always had a smile on her face and I will miss her deeply.

So sorry to hear of Janice's passing. I had such a nice long visit with her at our High School Reunion in September. My sincere sympathy to Zeke and the children.
