Jeffrey was born on June 29, 1967, in Springfield, the son of Earl and Shirley (Lyons) Turner. He married Patricia Ann Brooks in October of 1994 in Kincaid.
Jeffrey graduated from Northwestern University in 1989 and worked as a computer analyst for Teachers Retirement Systems. He loved spending time with his dog, Betty, working around the house, going to concerts, and listening to music, particularly The Grateful Dead. Jeffrey also enjoyed following Chatham High School sports, Northwestern sports, and collegiate wrestling.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Earl Turner.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; and brothers, Ryan (Melanie) Turner of Chatham and Brent (Alia) Turner of Eugene, OR; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
Memorial Gathering: Family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at Butler Funeral Home – Chatham, 8855 State Route 4, Chatham. Due to COVID restrictions, there will be limited capacity.
