Jen was born April 12, 1988, to Floyd and Ann (Borer) Knust. They raised Jen and her two siblings in Albion, Nebraska.
She married the love of her life on November 27, 2010. Together, they built a life rooted in Jesus Christ and His Word, raising their six children to honor the Lord. Jen was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend.
She radiated joy, life, and light to all she met. She faithfully served and encouraged those whose lives she touched. Her presence will be greatly missed.
Jen has been made whole and will rejoice forevermore in the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ, who said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Jen was preceded in death by three grandparents; two uncles; and one aunt. She is survived by one grandmother; her parents, siblings, and their families; husband; and six children, as well as a multitude of friends.
Her services will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, at Cherry Hills Church, 2125 Woodside Rd., Springfield, IL 62711. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Ceremony at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Brady Rueter, officiating.
