She was born on February 7, 1920 in Springfield, the daughter of the late James and Myrtle (Hewitt) Baggs. She married Theodore “Ted” Casper on April 13, 1941 in Old Monroe, MO and he preceded her in death on October 10, 1995.
Mrs. Casper was a homemaker
She is survived by 2 daughters, Debra (husband Randy) Taylor of Mason City, IL and Karen (husband Robert) Davis of Jacksonville, IL, 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 1 brother.
Services are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield, where visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 from 9 to time of the funeral service at 10 am. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home with Rev. Vaughn Beeman officiating. Burial will follow at Ashland Cemetery, Ashland, IL.
