Jim was born January 29, 1943 in Jacksonville, IL, the son of Harry and Estalee Waterfield Reavis.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harry Reavis; and sister, Phyllis Young.
He is survived by his sons, Mike (wife, Denise) Reavis and Steve (wife, Deann) Reavis, both of Springfield; the mother of his children, Carolyn Reavis of Springfield; grandchildren, Grace, Anna, Ryan, Maggie, Regan, and Reese Reavis; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies.
Memorial Ceremony: 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating.
