Jody Ann Longworth, 62, of Highland, Illinois, passed away on January 25, 2021 at St. John’s Hospital. She was born on March 31, 1957 at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield, Illinois to Arthur Longworth and Norma Bellaver.
Jody is survived by her father Arthur and step-mother Alice Joan Lynch of Springfield, husband Rick Holmes of Beckemeyer, IL., brother John Longworth of Highland, IL., sister Jan (Veryl) Berry of Littleton, CO., and many friends.
Jody moved to Colorado in 1967 and attended Arapahoe Community College in Littleton receiving her Associates Degree. She was employed at Diner’s Club International and as a dietary cook in Wheatridge, Colorado before returning to Illinois in 1998. She was an avid Denver Broncos fan.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Litchfield and memorial contributions may be made to the Fighting Blindness
