John Arthur Gramlich, 61, of Springfield, died at 10:50 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Heritage Health Hospice. John was born November 29, 1956 in Springfield, the son of Ferdinand J. and Janice J. Hay Gramlich. John enjoyed root beer, listening to music, going for car rides, being outside on the patio, and being with family and friends at parties. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sisters, Vonda (husband, Corey) Wiegand of Springfield, Debbie Knox of Riverton, and Karen (husband, Stephen) Nunn of Springfield, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center. The family will host a memorial ceremony at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 500 S. Sherman Blvd., Sherman, IL. Private family burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
