John Robert Perkins, 54, of Chatham, died at St. John�s Hospice, Wednesday, December 24, 2014. He was born July 5, 1961 in Springfield, IL to Frank Allen and Donna Lee Burns Perkins. He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, David. John worked as a baker at the donut shop in Olney. John is survived by his children, Connor Perkins and twins, Abigail and Ian Perkins, and their mother Christine Wright all of Olney; father and stepmother, Frank and Wanda Perkins of Springfield; brother, George (Barb) Perkins, of Springfield, six stepsisters, two aunts, and nieces, nephews and cousins. Private family services were held after cremation rites were accorded by Cremation Services of Central Illinois, Chatham. Graveside services were held with Pastor Clarence Rogers officiating. Staab Polk Memorial Home, 8855 State Route 4, Chatham is serving the Perkins family.
