After high school Johnny moved to California and worked as a painter, painting casinos. He moved back to Springfield and worked as a union bricklayer for McGuigan, Pulliam and Evans Masonry for over thirty years.
Johnny was a great hunter. His favorite place was the family farm in Missouri where he and the family would hunt deer and turkey. He loved taking friends to experience his “Sweet Home Missouri.” He was a big Cubs and Bears fan, and on a nice day, you could find him on his Harley spending time with his many friends. Johnny was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
